RSAMD | | | Any other information | Over the last four years I have worked for Adept Marketing and Communications in the role of Account Manager and Campaigns Manager, organising social policy marketing campaigns for public sector clients, NHS boards and government organisations.
I specialise in Social Policy Marketing but have wide experience in all areas of Field Marketing. I have worked all over the UK, booking venues, hiring and managing staff, vehicle logistics, data capture, reporting, mystery shopping and promoting. I am outgoing and friendly, I can work as part of a team or alone, I have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills both with customers and clients.
I graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 2001 with a BA in Technical Theatre and Production Arts. Working as a Stage Manager I toured extensively in Scotland and the UK with many leading theatre companies as well as Russia, Budapest and Latvia with the European Opera Company.
During my time with Adept Marketing and Communications I managed campaigns for clients including the Scottish Government, Health Scotland, Renfrewshire Council, Liverpool PCT, NHS Wirral, NHS Hull, Trafford PCT and Birmingham PCT, covering a variety of social issues from drug and alcohol misuse, knife crime, anti social behaviour to smoking cessation and HPV.
My particular area of expertise is campaign logistics. I have built up a database of venue contacts, which includes all Scottish local authorities, supermarkets, shopping centres and further education establishments, and have developed close working relationships with these contacts.
I take a hands-on approach throughout, from the initial creative and planning stages to the campaign itself, subsequent daily reporting and final client presentation, keeping the client up to date and reacting to all requirements and changes.
Most recently I managed the logistics for the National Lottery Good Causes 'Britain Has Balls' UK and Northern Ireland roadshow, overseeing the movement of the campaign vehicles, venues booking, health and safety and promotion staff.
I am looking to continue working in this field in a permanent or freelance capacity in the role of Campaign Manager, Team Leader and Promotion Staff. I enclose my CV for your perusal.
